With underground rivers, wildlife sanctuaries, Mayan heritage sites, and spectacular shows, Xcaret offers immersive activities that celebrate the beauty and traditions of Mexico — making it the perfect setting for families to explore, learn, and play together.

Xenses

A playful, mind-bending park designed to challenge your senses and spark your curiosity. Xenses takes you through optical illusions, perspective-defying pathways, and multisensory environments like the pitch-black Xensatorium, the slippery Sludgerie, and the soaring Bird Flight zip line. It’s a half-day experience packed with surprises, laughter, and imaginative discoveries for all ages.

Xcaret Plus

Dive into Mexico’s natural and cultural treasures at Xcaret Plus. Float through crystal-clear underground rivers, explore lush jungle trails, visit butterfly pavilions and coral reef aquariums, and encounter vibrant wildlife. Throughout the day, you’ll experience the beauty, art, and traditions of Mexico — culminating in the unforgettable Xcaret México Espectacular, a world-class evening performance filled with music, dance, and history.

Xel-Há

A natural water paradise where you can snorkel among colorful fish, drift down river currents on inner tubes, bike through jungle trails, or leap from cliffs into sparkling cenotes. With unlimited food and drinks, shaded hammocks, and countless water activities, Xel-Há is the perfect full-day escape for families who love swimming, exploring, and relaxing in nature.

Xplor

The ultimate adventure park for thrill-seekers. Soar over the jungle on the highest zip-lines in the Riviera Maya, drive amphibious vehicles through caves and forests, and swim or paddle through torch-lit underground rivers. Xplor’s blend of adrenaline, nature, and epic landscapes creates an exhilarating, full-day experience your family will never forget.

What's the difference between a Deluxe Room and Junior Suite?

The main differences are space, layout, and level of comfort.

Deluxe Rooms offer 344 ft² of space and are ideal for families or groups traveling together. They feature either two queen beds or one king bed, a full bathroom, and a balcony or terrace with garden views. With a maximum capacity of up to 4 guests, they are a great option for sharing comfortably while enjoying beautiful surroundings.

Junior Suites, on the other hand, are more spacious at 506 ft² and are designed for guests looking for extra comfort and a more luxurious feel. They include a separate lounge and bedroom area, along with two double beds or one king bed, a fully equipped bathroom, and a balcony or terrace overlooking the exotic landscape. Junior Suites accommodate up to 3 guests and provide a more private, refined layout.

In short:

  • Choose a Deluxe Room if you need higher occupancy and a comfortable, well-appointed space.
  • Choose a Junior Suite if you prefer more room, a separate lounge area, and a more upscale experience.

Is there an educational component to this trip?

Every single travel experience is educational. On this trip we will not be sitting in classrooms, or looking at textbooks. We will be exploring, immersing, learning from doing. We will be sharing all the knowledge about the area that we have collected over the years. We will be encouraging kids and adults to break out of their shell and step a little out of their comfort zone and remember what it's like to be a wild child. This might not be in your local school's curicullum but it will be transformational in another way.

We hope that you will leave inspired, full of wonder and with your soul well rested.

Do you facilitate group communication?

Yes, all the families will be added to a WhatsApp group to get to know each other before the trip and discuss the itinerary. We will also use WhatsApp to communicate during the trip.

How do I know if we get along with the other families?

I think that's a question you need to ask yourself. We have never had an issue whether families did not get along.

During our past trips, introverts have enjoyed sporadic company of other introverts, while their kids were able to be social and extroverts had fun with the whole group. No matter what you will have the perfect experience for you. The more you put into it the more you will get out of it. Be yourself, be authentic, and make time to connect with others. You'll be so happy you did!
