Your Port Excursion Planner

• Prices shown during the interest poll are approximate estimates only. They are meant to help families decide whether they may be interested in an excursion.
• Prices depend on the final group size. Many excursion costs, such as transportation, guides, and logistics, are fixed and divided among participants. A group of 21 may therefore have a different per-person price than a group of 29, even if both fall within the same estimated 20–30 person range.
• Initial prices are estimates, not guaranteed rates. Estimates are based on the expected group size and the information available at the time of the poll.
• Pricing can change. Final rates may be affected by exchange rates, operator pricing and availability, entrance fees, transportation costs, itinerary changes, inflation, or other logistical factors.
• Pricing can vary between sailings. Even the same excursion in the same port with the same operator may have a different price on another sailing.
• Final pricing is confirmed after the interest poll closes. We use the estimated participant count to confirm the itinerary and request an updated quote from the operator.
• In some cases, the price may need to increase after you have already booked. Group pricing is based on the number of participants expected to join. If fewer people ultimately book or participate than anticipated, the cost per person may increase. If this happens, we will let the group know the additional amount required to keep the excursion running. Families can then choose whether they are comfortable paying the difference and continuing with the tour. If the group does not wish to proceed at the revised price, we may cancel the excursion and issue a full refund to everyone.
• The price on the official booking/payment page is the confirmed booking price based on the expected group size at that time. Please review the excursion details and price carefully before completing payment. In the uncommon event that participant numbers later fall significantly below expectations, the group may be offered the choice between paying an additional amount or cancelling the excursion for a full refund.
• Voting “interested” does not obligate you to book. The interest poll simply helps us estimate group size and pricing.
• Some excursions have a strict participant limit. Even if more people vote “interested,” we may only be able to take a certain number based on bus capacity, boat size, operator limits, or the type of tour. In these cases, spots are first come, first served once booking opens. Voting does not guarantee a spot, so if you want to join, please book as soon as possible once the Book Now button is available.

We always work to keep our group excursions as affordable as possible. Any post-booking price adjustment would only be made when necessary to keep the excursion operating at a lower-than-expected participant count, and only if all participating families agree to do so.

Each port excursion is arranged with an independent local tour operator or small business, and each operator has its own cancellation and refund terms.

We will always do our best to recover as much of your payment as possible if plans change. However, refunds cannot always be guaranteed.

• Refunds may not be possible close to the excursion date. This is especially true once transportation, guides, entrance tickets, deposits, or other operator costs have already been paid.
• Refunds may not be possible if your cancellation would increase the cost for the rest of the group. Many excursions are priced as a group package, with fixed costs divided among participants. If one family withdraws after pricing has been finalized, we may not be able to issue a refund without increasing the price for everyone else.
• Personal cancellations are generally non-refundable once the booking is confirmed. This may include illness, missed transportation, changes in personal plans, or choosing not to attend.
• If the cruise ship misses the port, we will pursue the maximum refund available from the operator. Many operators offer at least partial refunds in this situation, but a 100% refund cannot always be guaranteed, particularly if the operator has already incurred non-refundable expenses.

Our goal is never to keep money that can reasonably be returned. We will always request the maximum refund available from the operator, while also making sure one family’s cancellation does not create additional costs for the rest of the group.

Because of this, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers excursions and trip interruptions.

If you need to make an insurance claim, Every Avenue can provide an official letter confirming the circumstances of the missed excursion, including situations such as illness, other personal emergencies, or the cruise ship being unable to call at the scheduled port.

By booking a port excursion, you acknowledge that refunds are subject to the local operator’s policies, payments already made on behalf of the group, and the effect a cancellation may have on the remaining participants. Please only book if you are comfortable with these conditions.

• No-shows and late arrivals: If someone misses the meeting time, returns late to the meeting point, or otherwise misses the excursion, the excursion is non-refundable.
• Partial participation: If someone chooses to leave an excursion early or skip part of it, there is no partial refund.
• Operator changes: Local operators may occasionally need to change the vehicle, guide, order of stops, timing, or itinerary for operational, weather, safety, or availability reasons. Minor changes do not automatically qualify for a refund.
• Weather: If the excursion still operates safely despite rain or less-than-ideal weather, choosing not to participate would normally be treated as a personal cancellation.
• Minimum numbers: If not enough people book and the excursion cannot operate at the planned price, we may need to cancel the excursion, adjust the itinerary, or offer participants a revised price before proceeding.
• Non-refundable components: Tickets, permits, meals, transportation deposits, or other prepaid costs may remain non-refundable even when the operator refunds the rest.
• Refund timing: Any refund must first be received back from the operator, so refunds may take time and cannot necessarily be issued immediately.
