Day 2
Set out early to snorkel around Kicker Rock (León Dormido), an iconic twin rock formation rising from the sea. Spot sharks, rays, and colorful fish as you explore underwater channels, then relax on a nearby beach before returning to San Cristóbal in the afternoon.

Travel by speedboat to Santa Cruz Island and settle into your charming hotel in Puerto Ayora. In the afternoon, visit the Santa Cruz Highlands to see giant tortoises roaming freely and explore ancient lava tunnels surrounded by lush vegetation.
Day 4
Journey by boat to Bartolomé Island, the most photographed spot in the Galápagos. Hike to the top of an extinct volcano for panoramic views, then snorkel in clear waters where penguins, rays, and tropical fish play among volcanic formations.
Day 5
Paddle through Tortuga Bay’s tranquil turquoise waters surrounded by mangroves and marine iguanas. In the afternoon, travel by speedboat to Isabela Island, where your beachfront hotel awaits on the soft sands of Puerto Villamil.
Day 6
Venture to Los Túneles, a surreal network of lava arches and crystal-clear lagoons, perfect for snorkeling. Encounter sea turtles, reef sharks, rays, and even penguins as you explore this breathtaking marine wonderland.
Day 7
Snorkel in the calm, clear waters of Concha y Perla Lagoon, then set out to Tintoreras Islet for a short hike over volcanic terrain. Observe white-tipped reef sharks, sea lions, and marine iguanas before enjoying a delicious local lunch.
Day 8
Enjoy a final morning in paradise before your short scenic flight from Isabela (IBB) to Baltra (GPS). Take in sweeping aerial views of the islands — a fitting goodbye to your Galápagos adventure.

Experience a living sanctuary where sea lions lounge beside you, blue-footed boobies dive with precision, and tortoises wander the landscapes. Encounters like these make every moment feel unique.

Explore vibrant underwater realms shaped by volcanic forces, where penguins zip past, reef sharks glide below, and fish shimmer in dazzling colors. These pristine waters offer endless discovery.

Traverse lava fields, ascend extinct craters, and stand atop dramatic viewpoints sculpted by fire and time. The islands’ raw geology creates surreal scenes that feel like stepping onto another planet.

Paddle through calm mangroves, walk along rugged coastlines, and swim through natural rock arches carved by the ocean. Each day blends movement, exploration, and peaceful immersion in nature.

Slip into calm waters where wildlife is fearless and curious. Swim beside playful sea lions, drift with sea turtles, and watch rays and reef sharks glide by. Every snorkel offers an unforgettable moment.

Naturalist-guided outings turn the trip into a hands-on classroom, bringing local ecology, geology, and wildlife into focus. Ideal for curious minds, each experience deepens your understanding.

Savor fresh seafood, stroll sandy streets, and enjoy the unhurried rhythm of local island towns. Warm hospitality and oceanfront charm add a cultural richness to your adventure.

Every single travel experience is educational. On this trip we will not be sitting in classrooms, or looking at textbooks. We will be exploring, immersing, learning from doing. We will be sharing all the knowledge about the area that we have collected over the years. We will be encouraging kids and adults to break out of their shell and step a little out of their comfort zone and remember what it's like to be a wild child. This might not be in your local school's curicullum but it will be transformational in another way.
We hope that you will leave inspired, full of wonder and with your soul well rested.
Yes, all the families will be added to a WhatsApp group to get to know each other before the trip and discuss the itinerary. We will also use WhatsApp to communicate during the trip.
Most families get along really well if they actually participate in the group and are open to new friends.
During our past trips, introverts have enjoyed sporadic company of other introverts, while their kids were able to be social and extroverts had fun with the whole group. No matter what you will have the perfect experience for you. The more you put into it the more you will get out of it. Be yourself, be authentic, and make time to connect with others. You'll be so happy you did!

To secure your spot on the Worldschooling Galapagos Island Hopping Tour, a $500 deposit per person is required at the time of booking. This deposit becomes non-refundable 150 days before the trip, which means after March 27, 2026.
The remaining balance is due 120 days before departure (April 26, 2026). Refunds for the balance are available on a sliding scale based on the time of cancellation:
If you’re unable to travel, you may transfer your booking to another traveler up to 14 days before departure, as long as any supplier fees associated with the change are covered in full.
We recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your investment in case of unforeseen circumstances.
While most accommodations, guided activities, and meals are included in your tour, there are a few additional costs to plan for during your Galápagos adventure. These include mandatory park fees—such as the Galápagos National Park entrance fee ($200 per adult / $100 per child) and the Transit Control Card ($20 per person)—as well as small local charges, like the Isabela Island entry fee ($10), Puerto Ayora pier fee ($1), and water taxis ($1 per ride).
If you’d like to rent snorkeling gear or wetsuits for self-guided activities, these are available locally for around $5–$10 per day (cash only). We recommend carrying some small bills in U.S. dollars, as most of these payments are made in person and credit cards are not widely accepted.
These modest local fees directly support conservation efforts and community infrastructure throughout the Galápagos Islands.
