Absolutely! You and your children will have hands-on opportunities to learn about ranch life, horseback riding, fly fishing, cow herding, and more.

What is the cancellation policy?

If part of your family or travel group cancels (for example, one parent or child) more than 45 days prior to arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of their portion of the total reservation (plus the deposit) will be charged — even if the rest of your family or group continues with the booking.

If part of your family or travel group cancels (for example, one parent or child) less than 45 days prior to arrival, a cancellation fee equal to 80% of their portion of the total reservation (plus the deposit) will be charged — even if the rest of your family or group continues with the booking.

Do you facilitate group communication?

Yes, all the families will be added to a WhatsApp group to get to know each other before the trip and discuss the itinerary. We will also use WhatsApp to communicate during the trip.

How do I know if we get along with the other families?

I think that's a question you need to ask yourself. We have never had an issue whether families did not get along.

During our past cruises, introverts have enjoyed sporadic company of other introverts, while their kids were able to be social and extroverts had fun with the whole group. No matter what you will have the perfect experience for you. The more you put into it the more you will get out of it. Be yourself, be authentic, and make time to connect with others. You'll be so happy you did!

What are some of the extra expenses should I anticipate?

Food outside the resort meal plans, transfers, tips, airfare, pre-/post lodging, as well as additional attraction tickets, lift tickets, outside of those stated in the schedule. Any other additional day trip expenses are not included in the price.

What is the food situation?

Buffet meals are served three times a day at 8am, noon, and 7pm, after cocktails at 6pm in the John Wayne Saloon. Every “home cooked meal from scratch” is prepared by our guest ranch chefs and served in the historic main lodge dining room near the large river rock fireplace. The hearty western or gourmet meals are supplemented with fresh salads, fruit, homemade breads, pastries and desserts at every meal. Not everyone can eat like ranch hands, so let us know well in advance about special diets and we will try to accommodate your needs.
