Instead of cruise line tours, we partner with small, family-run local operators so your money supports the communities we visit. All our excursions are private to our group, and our guides are carefully chosen for their ability to lead fun, engaging, and meaningful experiences for world-schooled kids.

Option 2: Lake Doxa Mountain Escape from Nafplion
A scenic full-day journey from Nafplio into the mountains of the Corinthian region, offering dramatic alpine-style landscapes, quiet villages, and one of Greece's most picturesque lakes. This tour focuses on nature, rural life, and gentle cultural stops, paced for families who enjoy scenery, short walks, and meaningful local encounters rather than busy sightseeing.

Knossos, Villages & Lasithi Plateau Family Experience
This private, flexible full-day experience combines Crete's ancient history with traditional village life and hands-on cultural activities. The order of visits is adjusted on the day to avoid crowds, making the experience calmer and more engaging for families. - Knossos Palace (timed to avoid crowds): Explore Crete's most important archaeological site with a private guide, learning about Minoan civilization, myths, and daily life in an engaging, age-appropriate way.
- Olive oil factory: Visit a local olive oil producer to see how olive oil is made and enjoy an olive oil and raki tasting.
- Traditional mountain village: Short walk through narrow old streets in a village about 1,000 feet above sea level, followed by time to relax with a drink at the village main square.
- Lasithi Plateau: Travel up to the plateau at around 3,000 feet above sea level, surrounded by open landscapes and mountain views.
- Family pottery workshop: Visit a local family-run pottery workshop where children can try creating something themselves with guidance from the master potter.
- Old windmills area & optional lunch: Stop near the historic windmills where a family restaurant is located; lunch is optional and paid locally.
